Farmers protest: Today is the beginning of the new year. Even in the New Year, farmers across the country are stuck at the Delhi border. Even in severe winters the farmer is living in a tent. Meanwhile, there are reports that the stalemate of farmers will end on January 4. On January 4, the eighth round of talks between the government and the farmers will be held. Farmers on the Delhi border will not celebrate the New Year.

According to media reports, farmers had held candlelight processions at the Gazipur border in the past. On the Shahjahanpur-Kheda border in Haryana, on the Delhi-Jaipur highway, farmers have been on strike for 19 days, blocking police barricades and marching towards Delhi. In other words, the Faridabad border may also be occupied in the coming days.

In the new year, farmers kept their demands, saying in previous talks the government had agreed to increase electricity bills and repeal stove-burning laws. But it is not enough to celebrate. We will not celebrate until our demands are met.

The meeting of 60 farmers’ organizations at the Sinhu border in Delhi today at 2 pm is an important meeting. Which will include discussions with the government and further strategies. The United Kisan Morcha has condemned the caning of farmers in Bihar. The seventh round of talks did not reach a complete solution. Free products are being given to everyone at Kisan Mall in Ticker Border.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday directed officials to ensure implementation of the Farmers Welfare Mission. The Chief Minister asked the officials to organize exhibitions and fairs from January to January under the Mission for the Welfare of Farmers. The Chief Minister said that the farmers need to be made aware of the benefits of the Agriculture Act approved by the Central Government. The Farmers Welfare Mission is a special program of the government aimed at doubling the income of farmers.

On the other hand, due to the opposition of the farmers, the Delhi Traffic Police shouted for the traffic coming to Delhi from Noida and Ghaziabad and closed the Gazipur border. In such a situation, the borders of Anand Bihar, DND, Apsara, Bhopura and Loni are open.
