Riya has been granted bail of one lakh rupees. After release, he has to appear at the nearest police station for 10 days. Riya must submit a passport and he cannot go abroad without the permission of the court. Earlier on September 29, after hearing the bail pleas of all the accused, Bombay High Court Judge Sarang V Kotwal reserved their verdict. The verdict was to be announced in October. The court granted bail to Riya Chakraborty, Deepesh and Samuel, who were in jail today. The Bureau of Narcotics Control (NCB), the investigating agency, has opposed bail for everyone, including Rear.
