The Supreme Court has given advice to the Central Government regarding the supply of oxygen to Delhi and said that you do not force us to take a strong decision. The Supreme Court has said this about the supply of 700 metric tons of oxygen to Delhi every day. On behalf of the Delhi government, it was said in the court that even after its order, 700 metric tonnes of oxygen is not being supplied every day. The apex court has ordered the central government to ensure supply of 700 metric tonnes of oxygen to Delhi every day. The court said that it would have to continue this supply until the order is reviewed or there is no change.

The bench told the Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who was appearing for the Central Government in the court, “Do not force us to take any hard decision”. Order your officers to ensure supply of 700 metric tonnes of oxygen every day. Earlier on Thursday, the Supreme Court had asked the central government to ensure 700 metric tonnes of oxygen supply every day to meet the needs of corona patients in Delhi. The court had said, “If there is nothing to hide, then the government should come forward and tell the country how oxygen is being allocated by the central government.”

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has demanded the supply of 700 metric tonnes of oxygen to the capital every day from the central government. He says that if Delhi gets 700 metric tons of oxygen per day, then it will ensure that a patient does not die due to lack of oxygen in the capital. Arvind Kejriwal said on Thursday, ‘If we get adequate supply of oxygen, then we will be able to arrange 9,000 to 9,500 beds in Delhi. We will be able to prepare oxygen beds. I assure you that due to supply of 700 MT, no one will die due to lack of oxygen in Delhi.
