Please tell that Sushma Swaraj passed away on August 6, 2019 after a cardiac arrest. After his death, thousands of people paid their last respects to the minister and he was cremated with full state honours. He was posthumously awarded the country’s second highest civilian honor Padma Vibhushan on Monday.
His daughter on Monday said that she is continuing the “sweet tradition” started by her mother of having chocolate cake for Advani on his birthday. Earlier on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also went to Advani’s residence to personally greet him. PM Modi praised the veteran BJP leader for his “scholarly discovery and rich intellect”.
