Under this, Arnab will remain in police custody till November 18. The other two accused in the case have also been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days. At the same time, the court rejected Arnab’s application. Tell us that Arnab Goswami complained to the police that they were forced.
Arnav filed an application in the court alleging this. Which the court today rejected. Also, the court banned Arnab Goswami from using the phone and broadcasting live activities inside the court.
The case was filed after judicial custody
At the same time, the court directed the police that Arnab should not be questioned from custody. On the other hand, after sending Goswami to judicial custody, his lawyers Abad Panda and Gaurab Parkar have applied for bail.
Panda said the court asked the police to respond to them. The next hearing in the case will be on Thursday.
Arnab has been charged with assaulting a female police officer
For information, let me inform you that a case was filed against Arnab Goswami for allegedly suing an interior designer. Under which Arnab Goswami was arrested on Wednesday.
Subsequently, another FIR was lodged at NM Joshi police station for assaulting a female police officer. It is alleged that Arnab beat the female police officer when the police team reached her house on Wednesday morning.
A case was then filed against Arnab under sections 353, 504 and 34 of the IPC. Arnab, on the other hand, says the police treated him badly at his home.
Arnab’s name in the case of the interior designer and his mother’s suicide
In fact, in May 2018, entry designer Anbay Naik and his mother Kumud Naik committed suicide at their home in Alibag. During the investigation, police received a suicide note from the scene. Arnab Goswami was responsible for the suicide of three of them.
The suicide note states that Arnab did not pay Rs 3 lakh after finishing his office work. Police began investigating the matter but the case was later dropped. Meanwhile, the victim’s family has again demanded justice.
In May, Home Minister Anil Deshmukh handed over the probe to the CID. Arnab Goswami was arrested by Alibag police on Wednesday as part of the investigation. At the same time, Nitesh Sarada and Firoz Sheikh were arrested.
They are accused of embezzling Rs 55 lakh from Nitesh and Rs 4 crore from Feroze.
