Due to Kovid-19, the effect of restrictions has started appearing in different parts of the country. There has been a decrease in new cases of corona infection in India since last few days. Meanwhile, the central government on Sunday issued new guidelines in view of the spread of corona virus in rural areas. The government said that now gradually the spread of corona is being seen in the peri-urban, rural and tribal areas as well.
To combat infection in rural areas, focus will be on locally run care centers and where RT-PCR facilities are not available, rapid testing will be increased. The Ministry of Health has stated in the guidelines “In urban, rural and tribal areas it is important to ensure that community-based services and primary level health infrastructure are well-established in these areas.”
At present, the corona infection situation is under control in Maharashtra, Karnataka, UP, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Bihar, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Telangana, Jammu, Goa, Chandigarh, Ladakh. While the situation in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, Punjab, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Puducherry and Manipur still remain worrisome.
Here, if we look at the data released by the Ministry of Health, the number of cases reported daily crossed the 4 lakh mark. However, it is a matter of relief that now this number seems to be going down to three lakhs. According to the data released by covid19india.org, about 2.81 lakh new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. Although the number of new cases of corona has seen a decline, but the death toll from this epidemic has remained around four lakh even today. In the last 24 hours, more than 4 thousand people died of this disease.
