Corona continues in Delhi, more than 3500 new cases, infectious figures crossed 6.72 lakh on second day

Coronation of Corona (COVID-19) continues across the country including Delhi. On Saturday, for the second consecutive day, more than 3500 new cases of Corona have been stirred by the death of 10 more patients. The total number of infected patients has now crossed 6.72 lakhs in Delhi. With this, now the positivity rate has also increased to 4.48 percent.

According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department of Delhi Government on Saturday, where 3567 new patients of Corona have been found in the last 24 hours, the total number of dead has increased to 11060 after the death of 10 more patients. According to the bulletin, today 2904 patients returned to their homes after getting corona free, whereas yesterday the number was 2084. The Health Department said that the total number of infected in Delhi so far has been 6,72,381 and 6569 patients are in home isolation.

In the capital, now active cases of corona virus infection have also increased to 12,647. At the same time, a total of 6,48,674 patients have become corona free by defeating this epidemic. With this, the death toll has so far risen to 11,060.

According to Delhi Health Department, today a total of 79,617 tests have been done in Delhi. Of these, 57,296 RTPR / CBNAAT / TRUNAT tests and 22,321 rapid antigen tests were performed. A total of 14,820,857 tests have been conducted in Delhi so far and 7,80,045 tests have been done per 10 lakh people. With this, after the creation of more than 280 new Containment Zones in Delhi today, their number has also increased to 2618 as compared to 2338 on Friday.

Corona infection was confirmed in 3594 patients on Friday in Delhi. At the same time, 2790 cases were registered on Thursday and 1819 on Wednesday.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said on Saturday that Corona cases are increasing rapidly in the entire country including Delhi. The positivity rate in the capital has also increased now. We are testing the most in the country. We are also tracing and testing the entire family of those who are found positive. Jain said that we are doing 5 times more tests as compared to other states. He said that no one needs to panic. The government is monitoring the situation and is taking all necessary steps. 2/3 beds in Delhi’s hospitals are still vacant and the number of beds in private hospitals has been increased from 15% to 25%.
