The killings of common people in the Valley in the recent past have given sleepless nights to non-Kashmiri and Kashmiri Pandits. Panun Kashmir, an organization of Kashmiri Pandits, said that pretending to be normalcy in the Valley is like walking on the path of suicide. The organization has demanded from the government the creation of a separate place for permanent resettlement of all displaced Hindus in Jammu.
Kashmiri Pandits have demanded the creation of a separate state to the north and east of the Jhelum river to separate Jammu for permanent resettlement of all displaced Hindus and peace in the region.
Panun Kashmir has said that what is going on in Jammu and Kashmir at this time is not a law, it is a problem of the system. The Government of India needs to understand this. The organization says, “We are pretending to be normal here, the country has paid the price and to continue like this is like walking on the path of suicide.”
Ajay Chungu, chairman of Panun Kashmir, told thousands of Kashmiri Pandits who have got government jobs in the Valley, “They are like pigeons in cages and live in fear all the time. They are victims of jihadi warfare.” He said that giving employment package to migrant Pandits is not the solution to their problem. Chungu said that the reorganization of Jammu and Kashmir is an important necessity.
He further said that the Taliban has created a serious problem to divide Kashmir. The creation of Panun Kashmir on the north and east of the river Jhelum for the permanent resettlement of all the Hindus expelled from Kashmir is very important for peace. Chungu also demanded the declaration of Pakistan as a terrorist state. Said that crops of terror are being grown in Jammu and Kashmir at this time. Destroying it should be the top priority of the Indian government. Only the elimination of terrorists is not enough, this poisonous tree needs to be uprooted.
