CM Bhupesh Baghel is coming to Delhi amidst the struggle for power in Chhattisgarh. This has intensified the discussions of changing the CM in the state. Apart from Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey and Climate Change Minister Mohammad Akbar have also been seen at Raipur airport. Not only this, 40 MLAs are already camping in Delhi. Many MLAs have tried to meet senior leaders, but so far this has not happened. State Health Minister TS Singh Deo is demanding himself to be made the CM and due to that the struggle has increased.

In fact, after the assembly elections held in 2018, Congress had claimed the post of CM from Bhupesh Baghel and TS Singh Deo. Then Baghel got the command and it was being said that after two and a half years, TS Singh Deo would be made the CM. However, nothing was officially said on this by the central leadership or any state leader. For Delhi, while talking to the media at the airport, Baghel said that he has been called by the party high command. With this, speculations are being made that the decision to change the CM can be taken in the presence of the MLAs of the state.

Baghel said, ‘KC Venugopal ji had sent me a message yesterday that I should meet Rahul Gandhi today. Based on his instructions, I am going to Delhi and I do not have any more information. On the question of many other MLAs and ministers also reaching Delhi, Bhupesh Baghel said, ‘Why can’t they go to meet their leaders. I also got a call so today I am leaving. No one could come to Delhi due to Corona period. In such a situation, now after a long time people are going to Delhi to meet all the leaders.

However, during this time Bhupesh Baghel did not react to the statement of TS Singh Deo. TS Singh Deo had said that if a player plays in the team then why can’t he think of becoming CM. In the assembly elections held in December 2018, the Congress had won 68 out of 90 seats. During that time the leadership of the Congress was also worried about the conflict in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Then apart from Bhupesh Baghel, Tamradhwaj Sahu, Chandradas Mahant and TS Singh Deo had claimed for the post of CM.
