A law student in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur has taken a new turn by accusing former Union Minister Swami Chinmayananda of rape. The victim student changed her statement in court saying that Chinmayananda was never accused of sexual harassment. On the other hand, public prosecutors claim that they have reached an agreement out of court.
Former Union Minister Swami Chinmayananda was accused of raping a 23-year-old student and a case was filed against him, media reports said. But now the student has turned her back on her allegations in court.
The student, who came to the court on Tuesday to record a statement, shocked everyone by saying she had never been sexually abused. Currently, the statement has been recorded and the next hearing will be on October 15. The matter is being heard in a special MP-MLA court in Lucknow on the directions of the Allahabad High Court.

For information, please state that the student refused to accept all the allegations made earlier. The prosecution had filed a case against the student under Section 340 of the CRPC (false claim and false case in one case). Chinmayananda, a former BJP MP, was charged with rape last year. The law student, who was admitted to an educational institution in Chinmayananda, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, had been sexually abusing her for more than a year. After which he was arrested and sent to jail.
