Naxal-hanged woman Naxal Pandey hangs herself in Kavasi restroom in Naxal-hit Dantewada district

In the Naxal-affected Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, surrendering female Naxals hung in restrooms.
Dantewada district police officials said on Tuesday that the surrendering woman, Naxal Pandey, hanged herself in the women’s rest room of the DRG office in Kavasi district headquarters. Police officials said that on the 19th of this month, female Naxal Jogi Kavsi and female Naxal Pandey Kavasi surrendered on the 19th of this month, damaged by the ongoing Lone Vararatu (come back) campaign in the district.

He said that since the surrender, Pandey had been staying with another female Naxalite Jogi Kawsi in the women’s rest room of the Kawsi RRG office. Two female policemen were deployed for security.



Pandey Kawsi went to take a bath on Tuesday afternoon, police officials said. He gave this information to Yogi Kavasi and two other female police personnel. About 20 minutes later, Pandey went to the bathroom
When he did not come out, Jogi Kavasi and two other female constables knocked on the door. There he saw Pandey Kavasi hanging with a skull through a window.

Police officials said that after receiving the news of the incident, the doctors also rushed to the women’s rest room where they declared Pandey Kavasi dead after examination. He said the police had sent the body for autopsy and an investigation into the case had been started.
