Captain’s tweet on opening of Kartarpur Sahib Corridor, expressed gratitude to PM Modi and Shah

Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Tuesday hailed the Centre’s decision to reopen the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor and said thousands of devotees would get a chance to visit the holy shrine on the occasion of Guru Purab.

Captain Amarinder Singh has thanked PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for the opening of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor. He tweeted, “Visa free 4.7 km area connecting Indian border with Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan. It was closed in view of Corona pandemic. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for timely opening of Kartarpur Sahib Corridor. Heartfelt gratitude to Shah. This will provide an opportunity to thousands of devotees to have darshan at the holy temple on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Guru Parv.”

Let us inform that the festival of Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev is to be celebrated on 19th November. The reopening of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor, the holy site of Sikhs, will help thousands of pilgrims, mainly Sikhs, visit the final resting place of Guru Nanak Dev in Pakistan.

Let us inform that the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor was started in 2019. It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan.
