Black trafficker in Haryana, so far 50 deaths, 650 treatment underway

Amidst the corona virus havoc, black fungus has caused havoc in Haryana. In Haryana, 50 people have lost their time in this period of black fungus. On Sunday, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that 50 people have died in the state so far due to black fungus, while 650 people suffering from it are being treated in different hospitals.

Chief Minister Khattar while addressing the press conference said that more than 750 cases of black fungus have been reported in Haryana so far. 58 people have recovered, while 50 people have lost their lives and 650 patients are undergoing treatment. He further said that the government is procuring the injections used to treat black fungus while some stock was already available and being used in government hospitals.

He said that we have 6,000 injection vials. In the next two days we will get 2,000 vials, while we have ordered 5,000 vials. Earlier on Thursday, Health Minister Anil Vij directed officials to increase the number of beds in all government medical colleges in the state from 20 to 75 for treating patients infected with black fungus or mucormycosis.

Here, in view of the corona epidemic in Haryana, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has decided to increase the lockdown in the state. Khattar said that we have decided to extend the corona lockdown till June 7. The shops can now open from 9 am to 3 pm. The Odd-Even formula will also be applicable to shopkeepers. Educational institutions will remain closed till 15 June. The night curfew will continue from 10 am to 5 am.
