BJP will surround non-BJP governments for not reducing tax on diesel-petrol, high command gave this instruction


The Bharatiya Janata Party’s central leadership has directed its state units to intensify efforts to put pressure on the non-BJP-ruled government to bring down the prices of petrol and diesel. There are some non-BJP ruled states which have not given any relief to the public on their behalf even after the Center reduced the excise duty on petrol and diesel. Whereas BJP ruled states including UP, Madhya Pradesh have given double relief by cutting tax on fuel on their behalf.

The party has directed its leaders to launch an aggressive campaign against those states which are not providing relief to the people by reducing the tax on fuel. On behalf of the party, the BJP chiefs in the states have been told that the central government led by Modi ji has cut petrol prices by Rs 5 and diesel by Rs 10. The BJP-ruled state governments have also reduced fuel prices, giving relief to the public. The party further said that in state governments ruled by opposition parties where such relief has not been given, the party will launch signature campaigns, rallies, dharnas and agitations to compel those governments to reduce fuel prices. . This issue should be raised effectively in the state media.


Delhi government has also not given relief

Let us inform that even in the capital Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal’s government has not cut any tax on its behalf so far. Along with this, the state government has not reduced the prices in Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh. However, after the Punjab government reduced the price of oil, the Chhattisgarh government is also considering reducing the tax.

Many states including Chhattisgarh have not given relief from their side

The Jagan Mohan Reddy government in Andhra denied cutting VAT on diesel and petrol and clarified that the Center did not adequately compensate it despite taking a share of the central excise duty. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has been attacking the central government over the prices of petrol and diesel. But now when his party’s governments have not cut taxes in their state, BJP has retaliated. The BJP had attacked and said that the opposition is doing petty politics.
