In Maharashtra, BJP has attacked Shiv Sena amid the ruckus over Narayan Rane’s controversial statement on Uddhav Thackeray. BJP MLA Ashish Shelar said on Wednesday, ‘On the occasion of 15th August, CM Uddhav Thackeray had forgotten how many years it has been since the country got independence. Under the leadership of BJP state chief Chandrakant Patil, we will write 75,000 letters and send them to the CM. Through these letters, we will remind them how many years of independence it has been so that they never forget this. The Chief Minister should apologize to the people for this mistake.
In fact, during the program on August 15, CM Uddhav Thackeray had asked a person standing behind him how many years it has been since the country got independence. Referring to this, Narayan Rane had said that if I had been at that time, I would have slapped Uddhav Thackeray. A fight broke out over his remarks. Due to this, Shiv Sena had demonstrated at many places in the state on Tuesday. Not only this, violent clashes took place between Shiv Sainiks and BJP workers at many places. Not only this, he was arrested on Tuesday afternoon. However, he had also got bail from the court of Mahad in the night.
Meanwhile, controversy has erupted over a video of Shiv Sena leader and minister Anil Parab. In this video, he is seen ordering a senior police officer over the phone to immediately arrest Narayan Rane using force. After this video surfaced, BJP has now spoken of going to court against him. Ashish Shelar said, ‘Anil Parab was behind the arrest of Narayan Rane. We demand a CBI inquiry into this matter. After all, why is the Maharashtra government so nervous about the Jan Ashirwad Yatra. Why is she behaving like this?
