BJP’s Legislative Councilor Harinarayan Chaudhary passed away. He was admitted to a private hospital in Patna when he became ill. Where he died at around 11 pm on Friday night. At night, the family brought their body from Patna to the residence of the Bengali Tola in the city. On Saturday, his last rites with state honors will be performed at Muktidham on the banks of Budhi Gandak. His eldest son Arun Chaudhary will offer him ashes.
Earlier, as soon as the news of his death was received in the morning, a wave of mourning raged among the leaders and workers of social and political parties. BJP National Council member Ramasumaran Singh, former MP and JDU district president Ashwamedha Devi, JDU state general secretary Dr Durgesh Rai, Zilla Parishad president Premlata, JDU leader Dharmendra Sah etc. arrived and paid tribute to him.
Tarun Kumar, son of the late Legislative Councilor, said that he had found negative in Corona’s antigen and RTPCR examination, but the doctor had revealed infection in his lungs for which he was admitted to a hospital in Patna for treatment. Where he died during treatment.
Twice selected MLC
Harinarayan Chaudhary was twice elected a member of the Legislative Council from the civic body quota. He won the election for the first time in 2003 and the second time in 2015. In 2015, he was the candidate to win the most votes in the state. He was also elected Ward Councilor in Samastipur Municipal Council elections thrice while once held the post of Deputy Chairman.
Was also a big name in business
The late Legislative Councilor Harinarayan Chaudhary was counted as a big businessman in the city. In addition to hotel and restaurant, he was doing many business.
