BJP already engaged on Mission Gujarat, Shah gave a mantra to go up to the booth level


Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday held meetings with elected public representatives and government officials of Gujarat to review and provide guidance on important projects including the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed ​​Rail Corridor. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed ​​Rail Corridor project is also known as the Bullet Train Project. Shah is in Gujarat since 03 November. He held a meeting with local party leaders and elected public representatives at the residence of BJP MLA Arvind Patel in Ranip area of ​​the city on Saturday morning. Patel’s Sabarmati assembly constituency comes under Shah’s Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Sanand BJP MLA Kanu Patel, Gandhinagar Mayor Hitesh Makwana, BJP’s Gandhinagar unit president Ruchir Bhatt and others attended the meeting. MLA Arvind Patel told reporters that the meeting mainly discussed the electoral roll revision exercise to be carried out by the Election Commission and the role played by party leaders and elected representatives in it.


“Shah gave us guidance on the role and responsibility of MLAs and party functionaries in the upcoming summary revision of the electoral rolls,” Patel told reporters. He asked us to reach the booth level and ensure that no eligible person is left behind.

The MLA said, ‘The main station of the bullet train project falls in my constituency. All necessary land including land for main railway station of Sabarmati area has been acquired. Shah guided us to see that the work starts at the earliest. Later in the afternoon, Shah and the Gujarat Chief Minister reached the Ahmedabad Circuit House for a meeting which included state Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar, Industries Commissioner Rahul Gupta and Science. and Technology Secretary Vijay Nehra and others attended. Though the state government did not disclose the details of the meeting, Shah is believed to have reviewed the progress of various development works, including the Science City in Gandhinagar constituency.
