Writing a long post on Facebook, Babul said that he had informed Amit Shah and JP Nadda about his decision to quit politics in the last few days. He wrote, “I am grateful to him that he has inspired me in many ways. I will never forget his love.” Babul further wrote, “The question will arise that why did I leave politics? Does it have anything to do with the departure of the ministry? Yes he is- some people should have it! Don’t want to worry, so if she answers the question, it will be right – it will give me peace too.

Heard everyone’s words.. Father, (mother) wife, daughter, two dear friends.. Listening to all, I say that I am not going to any other party.. #TMC, #Congress, #CPIM, nowhere – confirmation, someone tells me Didn’t call, I’m not going anywhere I’m a team player! Have always supported one team #MohunBagan – only party belongs to BJP West Bengal!! That’s it!!
‘Stayed for a while’.. kept some mind and some broke down.. Somewhere happy with work, some disappointed. You will not evaluate
I am saying it after answering all the questions arising in my ‘mind’.. I am saying it in my own way..
If you want to do social work then you can do it without politics too – Let’s organize ourselves a little first then…
In the last few days, I have resolved to leave politics to Honorable Amit Shah and Honorable Naddaji, I am grateful to them that they have inspired me in many ways.
I will never forget his love and that’s why I can’t show him the same thing again 🙏 Especially when I have decided what my ‘me’ wants to do. So when I go to repeat the same words again and again, they might think I’m ‘bargaining’ for a ‘position’. And when that’s not true, they don’t want the ‘doubt’ to be taken away from their mind – even for a moment.
I pray that they don’t misunderstand me, forgive me.
Won’t say anything special anymore now ‘ you will say I will listen in the day, ‘ in the evening ‘
But I have to answer one question because it’s right! The question will arise that why did I leave politics? Do they have anything to do with the departure of the ministry? Yes there is – some people should have! Don’t want to worry, so if she answers the question, it will be fine – it will give me peace too.
Big difference between 2014 and 2019 |
I was the only one on BJP ticket then (in honor of Ahluwaliaji – GJM was BJP’s ally in Darjeeling seat) but today BJP is the main opposition party in Bengal. Today there are many bright young Turkish leaders in the party just as old. As are the old leaders. Needless to say, the party will come a long way from here under his leadership. No hesitation in saying that not having a single person in the party today is a big deal, yet it is clear that the right decision will be mine. Strong, strong faith!
One more thing.. There were some issues with the state leadership before the elections – it may be but some of them were coming out in public. Somewhere I am responsible for this (posted Facebook which falls into the level of party anarchy) Again somewhere else the leaders are also very responsible, although I do not want to know who is responsible – but the disagreement of the party and the disagreement of senior leaders The damage was being done, even in ‘Ground Zero’, the way was not helping the spirits of the party workers in any way. ‘Rocket Science’ knowledge is not required. This is totally unexpected at this point of time so I am going away with infinite gratitude and love to the people of Asansol.
Don’t believe I went somewhere – I was with ‘myself’ – so I’m going back somewhere today I won’t say anything.
Many new ministers haven’t got government houses yet, so I will leave my house in a month (as soon as possible – probably earlier).
No, I won’t take it anymore.
There was a small conversation on the flight with Swami Ramdevji in the sky. Didn’t like it at all when it came to know that BJP is taking Bengal very seriously, will fight for power but probably not expecting a seat. It felt like Bengali Shyamaprasad Mukherjee, Atal Bihari Vajpayee so much. How that Bengali who loves, respects, won’t win BJP on one seat!!! Especially when the whole of India decides before voting that his worthy successor will be Narendra Modi. Next PM of India, why will Bengal think differently. The challenge was to take it as a Bengali at the time, so I listened to everyone but did what I felt – without fear of uncertainty, did what I thought was right, with ‘Dil-Jaan’.
Did the same thing in 1992 while leaving the job of Standard Chartered Bank and going to Mumbai, did the same today!!!
Yes, few words are left.
Today I am not there or saying..
