In Congress-ruled Rajasthan, the slogan is echoing, “One rupee is the name of Ram, Joy Shri Ram Joy Shri Ram, I re I NSUI I”. Such slogans involving the definition of Hinduism have now been introduced in Rajasthan by the National Student Organization of India i.e. NSEI.
One taka in the name of Ram, this is not a slogan of any Hindutva organization. Instead, a campaign run by the Congress Student Unit (NSEI) is underway in Rajasthan. Through this campaign in Rajasthan, the Indian National Student Organization of the Congress wants to compete with the BJP. In Madhya Pradesh, the Congress is already campaigning for the distribution of Ram Mandir bank account numbers among the people. The Congress is advising the people that the donations to the Ram Temple should be deposited directly into the Ram Temple account, not in the hands of any other organization.
It is clear that now the Congress wants to be part of this Hindutva campaign. Especially in Hindi-speaking states where the issue is largely political. The slogan echoed in Congress-ruled Rajasthan, “One rupee Ram’s name is Joy Shri Ram Joy Shri Ram I Re I NSUI I”. Such slogans involving the definition of Hinduism have now been introduced in Rajasthan by the National Student Organization of India i.e. NSEI. The Congress has claimed that the grants collected by the BJP-sanctioned organization Ram Mandir are putting pressure on people in many places.
NSUI says its purpose is not to raise donations, but to run awareness campaigns. NSUI Rajasthan branch president Abhishek Chowdhury (NSUI Rajasthan president Abhishek Chowdhury) said that we are not opposing the Ram temple. But we have a fight against those who are giving false leadership in the name of Lord Rama.
PC Sharma, Congress MLA from Bhopal, said the Congress in Madhya Pradesh was distributing bank account numbers of Ram Mandir Trust among the people. The Congress says, just keep the money in the Ram Mandir account and do not give grants to any other organization. First, VHP has started collecting donations in the name of Ram Mandir in Bhopal.
Rajasthan BJP president Satish Punia said that the goal of the Congress was politics, not awareness. It seems that till now the BJP has accepted its right to promote the Ram Mandir, but it seems that now the Congress also needs its share.
