Along with this, Chidambaram has also raised his voice regarding the protest in front of Kapil Sibal’s house. A new political crisis has arisen in the state after Navjot Singh Sidhu resigned from the post of Punjab Congress President.

Amid the ongoing turmoil in the Punjab Congress, Chidambaram said in a tweet, “I feel helpless when we are unable to initiate meaningful dialogue within the party forums. I also feel hurt and helpless when I see pictures of Congress workers shouting slogans outside the residence of one of my colleague and MP.

We are not ‘Ji Huzoor 23’

In fact, former Union Minister and senior advocate Kapil Sibal has written a letter to the interim president of the party, Sonia Gandhi, on Wednesday. In his letter, he said, “We are not “Ji Huzoor 23”. It is very clear. We will keep talking. Let us tell you that Congress leader Kapil Sibal is one of the 23 party leaders who wrote a letter to the Congress President last year. Several organizational reforms were demanded in that letter.

Sibal said – those who were close are leaving together

Kapil Sibal attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in gestures and said that those who were close to him are also leaving together. He said that big leaders like Jitin Prasad, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Lalitesh Tripathi have left us. Shortly after Kapil Sibal wrote the letter, Ghulam Nabi Azad also wrote to Sonia Gandhi demanding a meeting of the Congress Working Committee.

After Kapil Sibal questioned the party leadership, several party workers on Wednesday demonstrated outside Sibal’s residence and raised slogans against him.
