Significantly, Maharashtra and Punjab are the two states in the country where the highest number of daily cases of corona virus infection have been reported since last fortnight. This information has been received from official documents. In the documents presented by the Union Health Ministry in the Cabinet Secretary’s meeting with all the states and union territories, it was stated that these two states are included in the five states and union territories which have more than their old peak number of daily cases. Have been done. These states and union territories also include Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat.

Amidst the concern, there is a relief news that there are 14 states and union territories in the country where there has not been a single death due to corona virus within the last 24 hours. These states are Odisha, Assam, Puducherry, Ladakh, Daman-Diu, Dadar Nagar Haveli, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, Lakshadweep, Mizoram, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Arunachal Pradesh.
