After entering the school in Srinagar, the terrorists first checked the principal and teacher’s ID, then opened fire

Terrorists on Thursday killed the principal and teacher of a government school in Idgah area of Srinagar. In the past less than a week, civilians of the Valley are being targeted by terrorists, especially those belonging to Hindu or other minority communities. The extent to which terrorists can go to once again create fear among minorities in Kashmir can be understood from the fact that when terrorists stormed the school on Thursday, first Sikh principal Supinder Kaur and Kashmiri Pandit teacher Deepak Chand I saw the ID card and then shot both of them.

The Times of India report quoted eyewitnesses as saying that around 10.30 am on Thursday, three terrorists entered the Sangam Idgah Boys Higher Secondary School. He then separated 44-year-old Supinder Kaur and her colleague Deepak Chand, as both of them did not belong to the Kashmiri Muslim community. The terrorists took both of them out of the building and then opened fire on them. Deepak Chand died on the spot while Supinder Kaur succumbed to her injuries on the way to the hospital.

Please tell that no student was present in the school at the time of the attack as offline classes have not started yet. The staff had to come to the school every day for a few hours.

TRF, an ally of Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsibility for the attack. However, the organization has maintained that the attack has nothing to do with the religion of the victim. The organization has said that the principal and the teacher of the school were killed because they had pressurized the students to attend the August 15 program.

Let us inform that earlier on Tuesday, terrorists also shot a Kashmiri Pandit and Makhan Lal Bindru, the owner of a well-known pharmacy of the valley. On the same day, terrorists killed three people in three separate attacks in the Valley. The central government has also become alert about the terrorist attacks targeting minorities in the valley and Home Minister Amit Shah has sent a team of experts to Kashmir. This team of counter-terrorism experts will work with the local police to eliminate the terrorists.
