A statement by Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope about the death of 13 people at a Kovid hospital in Virar in Palghar district of Maharashtra could spark controversy. Referring to today’s meeting of PM Narendra Modi, he said that many issues will be raised by the state government. Meanwhile, he said that the incident at Virar’s hospital is not a national issue. He said, “The fire incident in Virar is not a national issue….” Talking to the media, Rajesh Tope said, “In today’s meeting with PM Narendra Modi, the supply of oxygen, ramdevir and vaccine will be discussed.”
He said that the issue of fire incident in Virar will also be raised, but this is not national news. He said that the state government will provide financial assistance to the victims of this incident and the families of the deceased. On Wednesday, 13 people died due to fire in the hospital after 22 people died due to oxygen supply failure in a hospital in Nashik. Already, the corona hit in the state and after that these two accidents have raised concerns. Let me tell you that many times the question has been raised by Maharashtra about the lack of oxygen, the absence of Remedesivir injection and the supply of the vaccine.
